A Sioux Rapids woman was arrested following a traffic stop Friday afternoon when a Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputy saw a marijuana pipe in the vehicle and a search later turned up marijuana and a vape pen with THC oil.
The sheriff’s office reported Sally Skelton was stopped for a traffic violation. The deputy saw the marijuana pipe in plain view during the stop, according to a report.
Skelton was arrested for a drug paraphernalia possession.
A vape pen with THC oil and two baggies of marijuana were found later during a search of the vehicle.
Skelton was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without insurance.
She was released on bond.
