A Terril man faces charges related to a burglary investigation started in March and a search of his residence in April.
A report from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office stated Santos Beal, 36, was being held in the Clay County Jail on an arrest warrant on May 21 when a deputy arrested him on the additional charges.
The new charges are from a burglary complaint that was filed on March 31.
The sheriff’s office searched Beal’s residence, 2840 330th Ave., on April 9 after a search warrant was approved, the report stated.
Beal faces charges of fourth-degree theft and possession of marijuana, both serious misdemeanors; third-degree burglary of a motor vehicle, an aggravated misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
The report stated Beal was released on a $2,000 cash or surety bond.
