No injuries in two-vehicle accident on M27

No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident early Tuesday evening on M27, but both vehicles sustained more than $1,500 in damage.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident at 5:14 p.m. in the 3300 mile of M27.

According to a report, McKinley Koch of Greenville was turning south onto the road in a 1993 Dodge Dakota from the Max Yield Cooperative parking lot.


He then failed to yield to a 2000 Buick LeSabre being driven south by Oscar Pineda of Hartley.

The Dakota sustained $1,500 in damage, while the LeSabre sustained $2,500 in damage.
