A passenger suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident June 13 at the 440th Street and 240th Avenue intersection east of Greenville.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported that the accident occurred at about 1 p.m. June 13 when a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by Ronald Neulib of Alta was driving east on 440th Street and attempting to turn left onto 240th Avenue.
According to a report, Neulib did not see a 2007 Ford Explore driven by Iona Huffman of Sioux Rapids that was heading west on 440th Street.
The vehicles then collided.
The sheriff’s office stated a passenger, Wesley Huffman, suffered minor injuries. He was taken to Spencer Hospital by ambulance.
Both vehicles sustained “major damage,” the report stated. The F-150 sustained $6,000 in damage, while the Explorer sustained $9,000 in damage.
Both vehicles were towed away.
Neulieb was cited for failure to yield upon a left turn.
