The driver of a gray 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe was transported to the Spencer Hospital Emergency Room for minor injuries after an accident June 16 in the 3000 mile of N18 and 330th Avenue.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Department reported Tyrell Gibson, 23, of Ruthven, was traveling north in the pickup truck “at highway speed” at about 8:30 a.m. June 16 when it entered the shoulder of the road.
Gibson attempted to correct the vehicle, a report stated, but lost control and struck a sign and entered the ditch.
The pickup then rolled once.
The pickup was totaled, according to the report.
Gibson was transported for minor injuries. He also was cited for failure to maintain control.
