Sheriff’s office investigating vehicle damaged south of Dickens

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office believes someone damaged a vehicle south of Dickens on July 7 and is asking the public for information.

According to a news release sent Tuesday, a man had reported a suspicious vehicle with a broken front driver’s side window that was parked on 370th Street just east of 280th Avenue on Sunday, July 7.

The windshield has also been damaged.


The sheriff’s office believes that someone stopped and damaged the vehicle 5 a.m and 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, July 7.

The incident is still under investigation.

Charges are anticipated, the sheriff’s office indicated.
