The driver of a minivan was suffering from a medical condition that contributed to an accident Tuesday morning, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported.
According to an incident report, Emily Jane Widvey, of Everly, was driving a 2007 Toyota Sienna south in the 3300 mile of 130th Avenue when the vehicle entered the west ditch and hit a utility poll.
The accident occurred at about 8:20 a.m. Tuesday.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office stated in a report that it is believed Widvey was suffering from a medical condition that contributed to the accident.
Damage to the Sienna was estimated to be worth about $1,500.
