Ohio man arrested for OWI, drug possession

An Ohio man was arrested August 6 for OWI, drug possession and other charges after he was found unconscious in his vehicle.

A report from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office stated Bryan Flowers Jr., 29, of Logan, Ohio, was found unconscious in his 2017 Dodge Ram at the 230th Avenue and 365th Street intersection.

Authorities had been called to the intersection at about 6:30 a.m.

After an investigation, Flowers was determined to be under the influence of drugs.

He was arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense; possession of methamphetamine, first offense; possession of marijuana, first offense; possession of “other drug,” according to authorities, first offense; no drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Flowers was held in the Clay County Jail to appear before a magistrate, according to the report.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Spencer Police Department, Spencer Ambulance and Bud’s Service.
