CAIM Creative Co. announces evening of music with Catherine Glackin Aug. 30 at Arts on Grand

Catherine Glackin is beginning her second year in pursuing a flute performance and music education degree at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music. As a Bienen School student, she performs in large bands and orchestras, as well as chamber ensembles which include: flute quartets, woodwind quintets, flute-viola-harp trios, and more. While her studies lead to countless hours in the practice room, they also present performance opportunities and professional training in preparation for a career as a classical musician and educator. Catherine will be accompanied by local pianist, Christina Pierce.  Christina is a 1993 Spencer graduate with a music degree from Wartburg College.  Christina has been accompanying Catherine for many years as well as many other local performers.

Join CAIM Creative Co. in welcoming Catherine Glackin back to Spencer for a recital on August 30 as she shares her tremendous talents and love of music.
